Office manager/patent administrator

An opportunity has arisen for an office manager/patent administrator to join a growing team based in our Newcastle Office.

Responsibilities include:

  • Dealing with incoming email correspondence;
  • Checking and uploading post and updating and amending database records;
  • Preparing documents for on-line filing of forms at various patent and trade mark offices;
  • Preparing correspondence and legal documentation;
  • Instructing third party vendors, such as in the preparation of formal drawings;
  • Various billing duties – including adding service charges and official fees and preparing invoices;
  • Preparing standard reporting emails/letters to clients;
  • Preparing foreign filing instructions and examination requests;
  • Audio and copy typing;
  • Miscellaneous secretarial duties;
  • Diary management and travel booking;
  • Day-to-day office management.

Whilst experience would be beneficial, training will be provided for the right candidate.
